Kantify at the EU AI Week : #breakthebias
Kantify will be represented at the EU AI week event #breakthebias
Women are 13 times less likely to file for a technology patent than men. The OECD estimates that just 7% of ICT patents in G20 countries are obtained by women, and only 10% of technology start-up companies seeking venture capital are funded by women. What can we learn from women role models in the AI start-up space about creating a more gender-inclusive tech sector – both through their development of technology that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion, and through their promotion of a more gender-inclusive tech sector?
On 17/03/2022, as part of the EU AI week, our CEO Segolene Martin will participate to a high level discussion with policymakers, business decisionmakers, the European AI research community, and the start-up ecosystem to address the gap between policies and practice to build the future AI ecosystem that is as diverse and inclusive as the societies we aspire to create!
Other speakers include: - Petra De Sutter, Deputy Prime Minister, Belgium - Lucilla Sioli, Director for Artificial Intelligence, European Commission - Alessandra Sala, President, Women in AI
